  • CCTV cable points at every planned camera position around the exterior and entry areas
  • Alarm sensor and keypad wiring, including any glass-break sensors for ground-floor windows
  • Intercom and gate cabling, if your renovation includes a front gate or reworked entry
  • Network access point cabling, especially for any home office, media room, or area prone to weak Wi-Fi
  • TV and home theatre points, including speaker wiring if you're planning a dedicated media room
  • Conduit for future additions, even for systems you're not installing yet — empty conduit is far cheaper to run now than to add later
